Do I need to transfer my domain?

No. Your domain stays where it is: you only change a few DNS records at your current provider.

How many aliases can I create?

Aliases belong to the domain, not to user licences. Alias limits will be published before launch; included users are 1 on Solo, up to 5 on Team and up to 15 on Business.
